Dr. Daniel Rubin was born and raised in the GTA. He graduated from York University with a Secialized Honours degree in Biology. He then continued his education, pursuing his interest in becoming a health care provider and graduating from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2015. Dr. Rubin was the recipient of the RACH memorial award for demonstrating undefeatable courage, strength, perseverance and determination. Dr. Stoikos received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Waterloo and his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston. Certified by both Canadian and American board exams, he began practicing in 2016. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrist (CAO) and the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO).
